Dr. Bradley S. Rice was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. In 1999, he graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Rice served as Alpha Epsilon Delta President, Phi Beta Kappa and earned other honors while in college. Dr. Rice received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama School of Medicine in 2003. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency Program and Gastroenterology/Hepatology Fellowship at the University of Louisville where he served as Chief Gastroenterology fellow.

Dr. Rice is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology/Hepatology. His expertise include Colon Cancer Screening, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreotography (ERCP), Barrett's Ablation with BARRX and Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy. He practices at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. Rice does procedures at Crestwood Medical Center.

Dr. Rice currently serves as Co-director of Crestwood Medical Center Endoscopy Center and is currently President of the Alabama Gastroenterology Society. Dr. Rice has served on the Board of Censors of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners, the Alabama Department of Public Health Board, the Board of Trustees for the Madison County Medical Society, was Chief of Internal Medicine at Crestwood Medical Center, and was President of the Alabama Gastroenterology Society.

In his leisure time, Dr. Rice enjoys traveling, playing golf, watching Alabama football and spending time with his wife and son.

Dr. Vick DiCarlo was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, but spent most of his childhood growing up in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his undergraduate degree at Auburn University followed by his medical education at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. DiCarlo went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Later, he completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, where he served as chief fellow.

As a gastroenterologist, Dr. DiCarlo is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to his patients. He is well-versed in the latest techniques and treatments in gastroenterology and hepatology and strives to provide patients with the most up-to-date and effective care possible.

When Dr. DiCarlo is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, traveling, and hosting crawfish boils. His warm and friendly demeanor is highly respected by colleagues and patients alike. Dr. DiCarlo looks forward to serving the Huntsville community for many years to come.

Dr. Peter DeLeeuw was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. Gig'em! This was followed by his medical education at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, Texas. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis followed by his Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, where he served as chief fellow. Dr. DeLeeuw is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. DeLeeuw knew early on in his medicine career that he wanted to be a gastroenterologist. He has a passion for treating his patients both by performing the latest procedures and getting to know them in the clinic.

Dr. DeLeeuw and his wife, Meredith, have one son and two weimaraners. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching Aggie football, hiking, playing and listening to music, gardening, and fencing.

Dr. DeLeeuw's wife's family has lived in Huntsville for many generations and they are both excited to be a part of and serve the Huntsville community.

Christina Green, CRNP was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of North Alabama in 2014. After working as a Registered Nurse for several years in various subspecialties including 8 years in Gastroenterology, Christina obtained a Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. She holds national certification through The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensure through the Alabama Board of Nursing.

Christina is an active member of The American Association of Nurse Practitioners, The North Alabama Nurse Practitioners Association and The Alabama Gastroenterology Society. In her spare time, Christina enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Cavan Holley CRNP was born and raised in North Alabama. He attended the University of North Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2012. He then attended Troy University and graduated with his Masters of Science in Nursing to complete his Nurse Practitioner degree in 2016.

He was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society during his graduate work. Cavan is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Cavan has worked in primary care and family medicine before transitioning to gastroenterology.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and labradoodle, being outdoors, traveling to new places, attending sporting events, and cheering on his favorite sports teams, the Alabama Crimson Tide and Arsenal Football Club.

Mallory Moore, CRNP was born and raised in Huntsville. She attended The University of Alabama where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing in 2020.

She has experience in the fields of emergency medicine, allergy, asthma, and immunology. Mallory is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the North Alabama Nurse Practitioners Association and the Alabama Gastroenterology Society.

Mallory enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys going to the beach and attending Alabama football and basketball games.

Rachel Spindler was raised in Charleston, Illinois. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing in 2007. She worked as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit for several years before obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. Prior to moving to Huntsville, Alabama she worked as a nurse practitioner in Trauma-Critical Care-General Surgery for six years at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Rachel currently holds an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and her license with the state of Alabama.

In 2018, she and her husband, Blake, decided to call Alabama their home. While they both love to travel, they feel rooted here in Huntsville. In Rachel’s spare time she loves to embrace the southern culture by cooking, baking, and quilting.

Anna Summerford, PA-C was born and raised in Charleston, Illinois. She attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in. Public Health in 2016. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating with honors in 2018 and is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Anna is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Academy of Physician Associates. In her spare time, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, as well as traveling.

Trey Wilson, CRNP is a native to Huntsville, Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2019. During his undergraduate work, he was an ambassador for the college of nursing, and received the college of nursing ‘s leadership excellence award.

After working in the Emergency Department Observation and Admissions unit for a few years, he attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville where he obtained his Master of Science in Nursing in 2021. Trey is an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and holds certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). During his graduate coursework he was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. Trey is a current member of the Alabama Gastroenterology Society and the North Alabama Nurse Practitioner Association.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and their two dogs. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman.

She is a Huntsville native who graduated from Huntsville High and completed her B.S. in Accounting from Athens State University. Lauren is a current member of the American Society of Gastroenterology Endoscopy for gastroenterology management and has attended numerous conferences and workshops specializing in gastroenterology medical billing and coding.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Nathan and daughter, Hayden. Her hobbies include reading, boating on the lake and Alabama football.

For over seven years, Lindsay S. Rice has served as the CEO of Alabama Colon & Gastro, PC. Lindsay graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.A. in Anthropology/History, a M.Ed. in Secondary Education and History from the University of South Alabama and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of North Alabama. Previously, she served as a high school educator and administrator in social studies. Lindsay currently serves on the Crestwood Medical Center Women’s Advisory Board, FBI Alabama Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association Board, a HudsonAlpha Ambassador, the Huntsville Botanical Gardens Board of Directors, Huntsville Broadway Theatre League Board President, and the Huntsville High School Golf Booster Club President.

Lindsay has volunteered in many capacities including the Alabama Gastroenterology Society Administrative Advisor, Alliance to the Medical Association of the State of Alabama President, Madison County Medical Alliance President, American Medical Association Alliance External Communications Team, Junior League of Huntsville Board of Directors, Huntsville Library Foundation Board, Southern Medical Association Alliance Board of Directors, and the Huntsville Museum of Art Guild. She has chaired many events and helped with various non-profit projects throughout the community over the past thirteen years.

Lindsay was chosen for the 2022 FBI Alabama Citizen’s Academy Class, nominated for the 2017 Virginia Hammill Simms Award, a member of Leadership Huntsville Flagship Class L29, awarded the Madison County Medical Alliance Service Award in 2015, was named a 2014 North Alabama Woman of Distinction, 2009 Kentucky Beta Club Sponsor of the Year and in 2008 was named Shelby County High School Teacher of the Year in the state of Kentucky.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, Brad and son Sam. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time at the lake, Alabama football and being a golf mom.
